LFW & South Bank

A couple of friends and myself decided to take a trip to London Fashion Week. I had never been before and always wanted to go. It has always intrigued me, I would read in fashion mags what went on at London Fashion Week. The catwalks, the fashion and the masses and masses of people! It has always been something 'to do' on my list and I can now tick it off.

It was such a nice and sunny day, which is more than we could have asked for. However, the event wasn't really what I expected. When we got there, I felt very out of place in my H&M jacket, New Look boots and charity shop sunglasses. Nearly everyone was draped in furs, clinking heels, gold plated watches and a look that seemed like they had just sucked on a lemon. It was like being on the set of 'Made in Chelsea'. I love fashion, but I love a bargain even more. I'm not saying that LFW is a bad thing, I'm not against it at all... just something that maybe someone else's cup of tea was just not mine. I made the most of it whilst I was there anyway, snapped a good few photos with my friends and had a good time.

We didn't stay very long, we decided to move on, we grabbed ourselves a cuppa and had a nice walk-around London South Bank.
